DESCRIPTION:Everyone welcome.\nIts simple, sign up, come ski. FREE. We’ve got the gear. You’ve got the time and the motivation. Conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive from the U of M campus, this is a unique chance to check out a beautiful greenspace and experience the joy of winter.\nThis has historically been our most popular WinterPeg event! It sure was the last time we hosted it …So popular we turned a day only into a whole series. Last time, +970 people signed up to ski over a three day period!!\nPeople came from the university and all over the city.  This one was especially popular among the many visiting students, eager to try winter activities. Let’s see if we can break that record!\nThere is an (optional) warming hut and sauna. There are potties on site. Dress in layers and bring a mitts toque and you’ll have a great time. We’ll give you a few tips if you need them.  Snowshoes and kicksleds also available.\nEquipment is first come first serve but rarely runs out. Arrive anytime during the time slot to join.\nAvailable dates/times:\nThurs Feb 13\nLunchtime Ski 11:30 – 13:30,\nAfternoon Ski 14:00 – 16:00,\nSunset Ski 17:00-19:00\nFriday Feb 14th\nLunchtime Ski 11:30 – 13:30\nAfternoon Ski 14:00 – 16:00\nValentine’s Night Ski 5pm-7ish\nSaturday Morning Ski Feb 15th\n9:30am -11:30am\nDon’t miss out. Space is limited to 150 people per session. \nThis series of events is made possible thanks to funding from UM Properties Inc. and communications support from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management.\n
