Meet in the Forks main port area on the ice for a special Friday lunch/afternoon ski!\nOn Friday February 7th, we are offering everyone a chance to cross country ski on the frozen Red River for free, with a special mobile ski library visit to coincide with the announcement of Winter Trails Day coming up on Saturday.\nStick around for kickoff speeches from dignitaries, or simply grab your skis and head out. Ski tracks groomed just for the occasion and glide along as you check out Winnipeg from a gorgeous vantage point.\nGood for beginners and all abilities. Beginners too! Tip and tricks provided to any/all. Note: we will have sit skis and our resident mobility expert and former paralympic biathlete on hand to offer some tips.\nMade possible by Travel Manitoba.\n
