DESCRIPTION:Night ski through beautiful Assiniboine Park under a (hopefully) full moon.\nCome celebrate the end of February and the start of Onaabani-Giizis (Anishinaabemowin) or Hard Crust on Snow Moon (March in English). Equipment provided free or by donation. Snacks and drinks. No experience necessary. Explore Assiniboine Park’s winter trails and the meaning of their names. Meet new people and have fun!\nSaturday February 28th \n6pm – 8pm\nArrive at 6, get gear.\nSki starts at 6:30.\nEveryone welcome.\nBeginner and Experienced groups will be organized.\nSki guide on hand for each group.\nSnack and hot drink stop under the spruce trees.\nOne of a kind experience.\nFree to attend.\nOrganized by Winnipeg Trails and Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation. Council\nRSVPs appreciated below but not necessary.\n \n \n
