‘We Are Winter’ Outdoor Fun at Assiniboine Park

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy is inviting Park visitors to a We Are Winter Celebration with a variety of FREE, family-friendly outdoor activities!

All events and activities are FREE of charge unless otherwise noted ($).

WINTER ACTIVITIES
• Ski, Skate, Sled, Slide – Try out a variety of winter activities with equipment borrowed from
Winnipeg Trails. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and includes
cross-country skis, kick sleds, toboggans, skates, snowshoes, and more.
• Skiing and Skating Lessons – Bring your own equipment or borrow the free equipment
from Winnipeg Trails. Perfect for beginners or anyone who needs a refresher.
• Guided Snowshoe Tours – Learn about the natural beauty of the Park on a guided 45-
minute tour. A limited supply of snowshoes will be available for use or bring your own.
• Ice Bikes – Try a selection of ice-bikes from Spark Rentals on the Riley Family Duck Pond.

o Get your groove on with DJ GeNie. Saturday and Sunday only.
o Enjoy FREE hot chocolate at Cargo Bar. Saturday and Sunday only, while supplies last.
