‘We Are Winter’ Outdoor Fun at Assiniboine Park

Winnipeg Trails and Assiniboine Park Conservancy are inviting Park visitors to a We Are Winter Celebration on the with a variety of FREE, family-friendly outdoor activities.

What’s happening this weekend:

• The launch of another season of “Zoogipon”, Winnipeg Trails’ winter equipment kiosque inside Assiniboine Park’s Riler Family Duck Pond Shelter. Find us on Google Maps.

• Equipment to get you Skiing, Skating, and Sledding! – Try out a variety of winter activities with equipment borrowed from Winnipeg Trails. All equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and includes cross-country skis, kick sleds, toboggans, skates, snowshoes, and more. RSVP below. 

• FREE Skiing and Skating Lessons – Bring your own equipment or borrow the free equipment from Winnipeg Trails. Perfect for beginners or anyone who needs a refresher. To join a lesson, go here to learn more and/or register.
