Zoogipon means “It’s snowing” in Anishinaabemowin, and it’s your ticket to fun all winter.

No RSVP required. Come on down! We have lots of equipment of all kinds for all abilities/ages. All rentals are pay-what-you-can! Come us the skates, skis, toboggans, snowshoes, kicksleds and more! Great for beginners or families who want to try all kinds of winter activities.

Zoogipon means “it is snowing” in Anishinaabemowin. Welcome to winter paradise. Our Zoogipon Winter Equipment Kiosque is located ar Assiniboine Park inside the shelter by the duck pond. Its a reliable place for you to get equipment every weekend and check out some of the most beautiful trails Winnipeg has.

Much of our equipment comes from Winnipeggers who donate their old/underused gear! The rest is supplemented by grants and sponsors. Its all lovingly maintained by Winnipeg Trails volunteers and staff.

Here, you have direct access to a gorgeous outdoor skating rink, a sweet toboggan hill, an extensive network of ski trails and nature for miles. All proceeds go towards Winnipeg Trails’ inclusive programming and advocacy.
