Welcome to Winnipeg Trails’ new Zoogipon Ski and Skate Shack (Zoogipon = Anishinaabemowin; “It snows.”)
Zoogipon is our temporary winter fun shack at Assiniboine Park starting in January 2024.
We are located next to the Duck Pond, you can’t miss us. We are open Fridays and weekends all winter. We are open Friday-Sunday. Find us on Google Maps for up to date hours and directions.
You can rent skis, skates, snowshoes or kicksleds, all by donation. Suggested donation for adult skis is $15. Ski waxing services available too! Skate sharpening coming soon.
All proceeds go towards Winnipeg Trails programming, like the Winterpeg free mobile ski library, cycling advocacy, treeplanting and other great stuff.
