March Full Moon Ski – Hard Crust on Snow Moon Edition

Night ski through beautiful Assiniboine Park under a (hopefully) full moon.

Come celebrate the end of February and the start of Onaabani-Giizis (Anishinaabemowin) or Hard Crust on Snow Moon (March in English). Equipment provided free or by donation. Snacks and drinks. No experience necessary. Explore Assiniboine Park’s winter trails and the meaning of their names. Meet new people and have fun!

Saturday February 28th 
6pm – 8pm
Arrive at 6, get gear.
Ski starts at 6:30.
Everyone welcome.
Beginner and Experienced groups will be organized.
Ski guide on hand for each group.
Snack and hot drink stop under the spruce trees.

One of a kind experience.

Free to attend.

Organized by Winnipeg Trails and Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation. Council
