Try Skating at The Forks – New Year’s Day Special Try Winter at The Forks

Ring in the New Year right by trying something new!

Brought to you by The Forks and Winnipeg Trails. This is an opportunity for people new to skating to get some tips and tricks. Newcomers to Canada or anyone who has never learned to skate warmly welcomed!!

Instructor Leigh Anne Parry will be on hand to talk, walk (and skate) you through the easy first steps… er… glides…. 🙂

Skates provided by voucher on a first come first serve basis. Meet at The Forks atrium (inside near the skate rentals and the door closest to the circular rink under the canopy).

Please note that due to staffing capacity on the holiday, supports for persons with disabilities will be limited at this event. Sledges for example will not be available, but please join us on January 6th or watch the calendar for lots of opportunities for folks with disabilities to get in on the fun.
